ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Mission…

The Walter H Everett Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, was founded by the family of Walter Hunt Everett to preserve, enhance, and promote the collection of works by and artistic practices of Walter H Everett for the benefit of American art history. As a private operating foundation, we manage works in our care and we create educational programs.

In December 2023 the grandson of Everett, Mark Everett and his wife Gloria, donated 15 original paintings and pledged the entirety of their private collection to the Foundation. The Mark Everett Family Collection consists of 32 original works and 33 early edition prints. Through their generosity, these works will continue to be preserved and made accessible to the public.
